MLK Weekend Fast

A complete fast is designed to free enzymes normally occupied with digestion. Our objective in a complete fast is to free enzymes so that they can heal the body and repair damaged internal organs.
The term “complete fast” is used here to mean no food except air, sun and water. A complete fast will shut down the digestive system and allow the body to redirect enzymes needed to repair internal organs. This is an amazing experience for the mind, the body and the spirit.
Digestion is a demanding process on the body’s resources. It is further exacerbated by the fact that almost all the foods we ingest are dead and have no live enzymes to facilitate digestion. Therefore your body must use its own enzymes to digest the organic material you have piled into your stomach.
Eating live food such as fresh produce requires no internal body enzymes because whole food is alive and carries its own digestive enzymes. Cooking fresh produce of course kills the enzymes.
When you fast, all the enzymes your body would normally use for digestion are diverted to other more productive activity, like rebuilding your liver cells or removing cancerous materials from your lymphatic system or just slowing down the aging process.
It is in this spirit that BBM will do a three day fast for the MLK weekend and invites all members to join either physically or in spirit. We will begin at 12AM Friday and end 12AM Monday (72 hours).

Just the fact that everyone here loves muscles, or reading the discussion about grinding or seeing the pics put up by abpuncher tells me that many guys here have fetishes. My fetish is feet, I love manly brothas with nice feet. The pics that grab me the most are the ones with the muscular brothas who are barefooted. I have been an avid gym bunny for many years. And, I have managed to maintain a good physique. But,as a man in my mid 40's now I am finding it more difficult to increase my muscle mass. The bigger the upper inner thighs, the more the family jewels get pushed up and out in front because there's no room for them to dangle between legs bulked up in this area. What's up fella's. I Just wanted to get a conversation started about the 2009 Mr. Olympia. Do anyone have any plans to go out to Las Vegas for the event? I am in the process of trying to get a group of at least 8 people to go. I know the economy is bad and this trip might not be in your budget. But with 8 of us meeting up out there, we could all split cost on the hotel rooms and rental car. If anybody in the DC/MD/VA area has serious thoughts about going, let me know so we can discuss it further. This does not rule out anybody else in other cities who might be going but looking for someone to help split cost. If you have not been to a MR. O event, let me tell you it is an incredible weekend. So anyone want to predict who will win the MR. O. My prediction is Dexter Jackson will retain his crown for at least one more year. IIGHT fellas holla at me, I need some traveling buddies for the MR.
