I was told if you do at least 1 hour of cardio per day, that's enough to burn fat, plus your diet.Continue

Abs are made in the kitchen. 70% eating clean 30% gym. Get
The eating nice and clean and you will see results.

Looking for new ways to loose fat from my stomach. I already do cardio and different types of ab workouts. The stomach area is so hard to loose. Help Help Help....

Back into working out again...when I was younger, it was nothing when I bumped up a few pounds just to hit the gym and then I would be where I was --- fast forward many moons and I am again back where I started at. In the Spring of 2011, I fell in some serious love w/ the weights at the gym and I don't mean just some hopefully-I-see-u-when-I-see-u kind of stuff...I mean, I couldn't wait to hit the gym. Summer hit and after some self-induced drama bullshit, I just took a break which lasted for the next 6 months. Well---like I said, starting over and stepping higher is the name of the game and I am ready to play...

Hey Zoidcite Jai, I do not think there is a supplement out there that combines all three; maybe two of the three i.e. Muscle Tech Nitro-Tech combines whey/creatine and Musclepharm Assault combines a pre-workout supplement/creatine. Are you wary of taking a lot of processed supplements? If so, maybe you should look into Vitamin B12. That is what I use on the days when I need a little extra boost.

I've been chillin this month, letting the New Year crowd die out. I'll be back in the gym next week and need suggestions on supplements. I fatigue too quickly during my workouts, causing too many breaks...i did find a mix called 1.Quick Fire and it works great, however I will be taking 2. creatine and a 3. protein supp... I think it's a bit much. Is there something out there that'll give me all 3 in one?

This is a very interesting gismo. It's designed to focus on increasing core body strength. By core I don't mean the abs and obliques. I refer to those inner muscles like the psoas, the piriformis and the iliacus that wrap around the pelvis and the spine. You use those muscles when you do lunges or hold yourself in a plank or do an inversion. You need someone with experience to show you how to use this device correctly. Be warned - this strap is no joke.

Sup Houston & neighboring fellas,
I'll be hitting Memorial Park for runs in the upcoming weeks. If you're interested in picking up your cardio get at me and let's make it happen.

Hey guys...good morning, afternoon or even night where ever you may be.I just had a decent work out after only going one other time this week, maybe even twice. Once again reminded how much I am not a fan of cardio even though I know that it is a great way to shave off the extra pounds. As I did cardio, I caught myself glancing at the dudes in the free weight area and remembering fondly how I got pretty toned, dare I say, muscular, last year from working my ass off on the weights. Ahhh...the good old days. I even remembered that I had shaved off some weight even while I avoided cardio like the plague. Now don't get me wrong, I do walk places and can work up a sweat, but in all honesty, again, not a fan of sweat, unless it is someone elses :)I logged on today and yes, looked at some pics, and yes, read a few posts, but also wanted to just check in with the group and figure out a way to use this group as a tool for me to work towards my physical goals. I think posting my thoughts and actions on my goal is more helpful probably to me than anyone else because it is there in black and white and (for me), I have an easier time just being honest about what I am/am not doing for my health when I write than when I talk about it.The title of the discussion is "The Reason I am Here Is..." is because I would like to hear from others who are focusing on their physical health ---So why are you doing it and where are you headed with it?Continue
