What’s up guys! First let me just say that I’m glad that buddy of mine told me about this site! The images of these muscle brothers (weather from the net or shots from the members themselves) are hot as hell and very motivating. Here’s my question to everyone…I stand at 6’6” and weigh at 257lb. this is the most that I have ever weighed and my doctor said that I’m obese and want me to lose 40lb! Everyone that look at me says that’s crazy and that’s I’m fine the way I am. In spite of the positive responses, I do want to lose some pound. I’ve never had the washboard abs with a nice chest to go along with it. Dropping down to 215lb will be a task for me since I haven’t been that size since I was in the Navy back in the 90’s! I’m taking this thermogenic call OxyElite Pro. What else I can do to reach my goal of have a body like the ones posted here. I have a bowflex machine that I’m using at home too.

Hi Tony, you big ol' hunk of a man....believe it or not the jury is still out on the whole obesity "crisis" issue. It seems like our Public Health officials in collaboration with the Big Pharma have to alarm us at every step, I guess to scare us into taking their pills or simply control our behaviors with fear. I agree with Randall in that if you want to loose some weight for your own reasons, then do that. But don't allow doctors who know very little about the Black body to give you a one-size-fits-all diagnosis. Equating "fat" with heart disease, etc. has been proven to be an exaggeration. Many "skinny" people die of heart disease. Loose the weight to achieve better symmetry or just to increase your energy (if that's an issue for you). Victor pond,i agree with you on the comments about black bodies. I am skinny the prblms. that i am having with my health is cancer.  My body is producing more portion to fight off diseases as those portions are killing off my red blood cells.  Just a reminder most skinny people die of some form of cancer.  Tony the bottom is lose the want for your own reasons.  If, you do not want to lose the weight don't.  Just monitor your health.  I am skinny in my early 60's now as i just feel tired all of the time for me that is a sign that something is wrong.  Just monitor your health if you feel bad go see your daughter.

ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS : YOU ARE A VERY GOODLOOKING CHOCOLATE MAN : GET RID OF ANY WEIGHT ON YOUR THIGHS AND THE STOMACH. HEAT. Your internal furnace reacts to outside influences. First, walk whenever you can, rather it be taking the stairs at work or walking to close by stores instead of driving. Stand and pace instead of sitting: this can be a change, but when wanting to just think, stand and pace instead of sitting. Break a sweat everyday. Do something that gets you going and breaks a sweat everyday to stoke that internal furnace. Sprinting has to be done carefully with a friend or trainer around, but even short burst can break that sweat and poke that furnace knob. Also, sprinting causes heat right in your belly region and burns the fat away from that part, exposing abs.

Still on the subject of HEAT, my next two suggestions are very off kilter. They aren't suggestions although you can try if you'd like, carefully.

1.Sweat suits are a god send to me. They keep me hot and a little dewy at times. If it's comfortably cool in your house, put them on. Sometimes if it is warm, briefly put them on. I start my work out with them on to break a sweat faster and you'll feel yourself getting hot. When you get hot enough for you - take them off and continue your work out.2. Warm liquids and HOT foods stoke your metabolism/furnace. Go for hot teas and drinks when the weather calls for it and if its just cool in the house. Come to like spicy foods and add hot sauce to non spicy foods. Not to the point of pain, but spicy/hot food raise your metab, even hot temp wise. Remember, HEAT.

DIET: Snack and replace meals. They say breaking three meals into six can help you loose weight, which is true, but it can make you very hungry. I find that three meals plus three high protein snacks is better. The meals can be normal size, but not huge. A good guide is: a fist size of meat, a majority of the plate in vegetables, and fist to half fist size of a starch or carb. Yes, health food is best like no fried or fast foods. However, check QVC for oven bake sheets. These are pricy at $30.00 but they are MAGICAL. They evenly crisp breaded fish and meat in a way that it turns out just like fried, also french fries and burritos. You'll get the fried taste with none of the grease. A can of tuna is a perfect snack, just right now before you become a nutrition guru. Eat your normal three meals a day, maybe reasonably slimming them down by not choosing fast food and fish or boneless chicken as your meat and have two cans of tuna in the day for snack. Just gulp them down, it takes a second. Yes, it taste horrible. It's a great low fat high protein food.If you feel it, replace a meal with some tuna and vegetable or rice. Tilapia, cat fish, and boneless/skinless chicken are great alternatives to tuna, but tuna is cheap and goes down in a flash.

Trying to go completely health nut to fast doesn't work. it will leave you hungry and make you binge. Slowly tweak your meals taking out some of your bad habits. leave some of them too for the energy it gives you and the guarantee you won't fall off the wagon. Your body will be more equipped to use the left bad anyway because of the cals lost by the tweaking.

Diets dod not work!  Learn what to eat that burns fat from yr body.

I'm certainly no doctor...However, judging from the oversized t-shirt it's kind of hard to give an honest opinion. Perhaps, more fitting attire one could make a better assesment of the weight question. I certainly hope your doctor has a keen ideal of your situation, and is able to give you credible advice. What works for millions of people is diet and excercise, at least they say it does. I know for me, I did not step one foot in a gym, I quite frankly modified a few things in my diet and voila... I was down twenty pounds. What also helped to inspire me was that I had a really thin health teacher, who repulsed me to no end. That was a great motivator.

Good luck, do your research and no matter what you decide make  the healthy choice. Because, your simply worth it.

If your doctor is asking you loose weight I am sure has a reason ... or even reasons ... perhaps he has talked to you about your heart or some other internal organs he may have concerns about ... I know it is important to listen to the doctor's advice and ask plenty of questions when you do not understand him ... if he can't give you answers you can understand ... it is time to go doctor hunting.   your friend in BBM ... larryfaye...

Just the fact that everyone here loves muscles, or reading the discussion about grinding or seeing the pics put up by abpuncher tells me that many guys here have fetishes. My fetish is feet, I love manly brothas with nice feet. The pics that grab me the most are the ones with the muscular brothas who are barefooted. I find also that muscles and muscle play(erotic wrestling, ab punching and muscle worship) are major turn ons. So gentlemen, what are you fetishes?

I have been an avid gym bunny for many years. And, I have managed to maintain a good physique. But,as a man in my mid 40's now I am finding it more difficult to increase my muscle mass. Has anyone else experienced this? I have even heard that men in their 50's stop acquiring muslce altogether. Is this true?

training for the upper inner thighs and groin

The bigger the upper inner thighs, the more the family jewels get pushed up and out in front because there's no room for them to dangle between legs bulked up in this area. Mr. Olympia 2009

What's up fella's. I Just wanted to get a conversation started about the 2009 Mr. Olympia. Do anyone have any plans to go out to Las Vegas for the event? I am in the process of trying to get a group of at least 8 people to go. I know the economy is bad and this trip might not be in your budget. But with 8 of us meeting up out there, we could all split cost on the hotel rooms and rental car. If anybody in the DC/MD/VA area has serious thoughts about going, let me know so we can discuss it further. This does not rule out anybody else in other cities who might be going but looking for someone to help split cost. If you have not been to a MR. O event, let me tell you it is an incredible weekend. So anyone want to predict who will win the MR. O. My prediction is Dexter Jackson will retain his crown for at least one more year. IIGHT fellas holla at me, I need some traveling buddies for the MR.
