Just the fact that everyone here loves muscles, or reading the discussion about grinding or seeing the pics put up by abpuncher tells me that many guys here have fetishes. My fetish is feet, I love manly brothas with nice feet. The pics that grab me the most are the ones with the muscular brothas who are barefooted. I find also that muscles and muscle play(erotic wrestling, ab punching and muscle worship) are major turn ons. So gentlemen, what are you fetishes?

Injuries --Recovery from injuries and other stuff

On a serious  note.I want  to  touch  bases  with  folks  that  have  suffered  any  injuries  and  discuss   therir  recovery  or  any  special  needs  associated  with  the  injury  (  surgery,  therapy  etc).About  20  yrs  ago,  i  suffered  a  horrible  tib/fib  break  of  my  right  leg at  the  ankle--OUCH !!!     THIS  WAS  A  FISHING  ACCIDENT.  My  leg  was  held  together  with  2-  l4 inch  rods,  2  metal  plates  and  and  14 - 1 and one half inch  screws.   About  2  yrs  later  the  hardware  was  removed..  I  was  at  the  gym  on  a  regular  basis and  was   determined  to  recover  from  this  injury.  My  goal  was  to  be  able  to  run.Before  that  summer  was  over--  I  was  running  wind  sprints--  on  a  soccer  field  and  was  in  pretty  good  shape  for 39  yr  old  guy.   FAST FOWARD  20  YEARS.I have  what  you  call-  post  traumatic  arthritis. And  until  3  yrs  ago,  I  was  pretty  good  mobility  wise.. NOW  i  have  good  days  and  bad  days  as  far  as  walking. I am  59  and  have  no  desire  to  try  to  be  30;  haa  for  reral  tho.ANYBODY  GOT  ANY  MOBILITY  ISSUES ??ANY  INJURIES  WITH    LINGERING  EFFECTS ??ANY  MAJOR  INJURIES  WITH  A  FULL  RECOVERY  ??THE  FORUM  IS  OPEN  FOR  DISCUSSION-------------------------------------------------Continue

Joe  passed  yesterday  at  93.  I  guess  he's  considered  the  "guru, godfather etc.  " of  the  sport  as   we  know  it  today.  Aside  from Arnold  being  a  big  benefactor  of  Joe's  generosity -  the  sport  has  grown  and bobybuilding  isnt  an  underground  freak  show  as  it  may  have  been  considered  at  one  time.Good- bad-  or  indifferent,  your  thoughts  on  Joe  Weider.For  me-  it  was  those  magazines  that  were  not  mainstream  magazines-  back  in  the  day.  I  used  to  get  mine  from  a  news  stand  or  mail  order.  No  computers  and  online  stuff.  Chris  Dickerson, Warren  Frerdric,  and  many  others   were  my "  I  wanna  be  like  that"  heroes.Chime  in  guys   !!R.I.P JOEContinue

So who actually follows bodybuilding competitions? How do you follow them? Magazines? ESPN? Internet? Going to competitions? Other? Is there a place that tracks who is winning what competitions?I'm getting more and more interested in following bodybuilding and have a general sense of the sport, but I still would like to learn more about how it's judged, what the various competitions/conventions are, how the athletes prepare, etc.Thoughts?Continue
